having some trouble

hello everyone

i just purchased an 89 maxima and was wanting to put a new cd deck in and im having trouble finding instructions on how to take it out, it has the bose system in it if this matters at all.

any help would be very much appreciated

yea im not really looking to buy a manual just some instructions on how to remove it

if you have bose, then you really need more than just a new head unit, you should do all the speakers or get a line level adapter from PAC. other wise you are wasting money on what will either be a non-functional of potentially short lived setup.

yeah, If you have Bose you'll need to replace the HU and all speakers. Even if you bypass the speaker amps it wont work, the bose speakers are rated at 1 Ohm where as just about all after market stuff and other car radios are rated at 4Ohms. 1 Ohm is much less resistance there fore allowing the HU to be able to produce more power without anything holding it back and eventually it will over heat itself and blow...
