What is the best place to drill for gauge pod auxiliary sensors?

I have a gauge pod with water temp and oil pressure sensors. Where is the best place on the VG to drill and mount these sensors? Thanks!

There's already a hole where you can mount the pressure sensor, it will simply replace the idiot light pressure switch. Maybe you can use the stock temp sending unit with the aftermarket gauge.. Do you really need two though?

Well, one gives a numerical readout. The stock gauge doesn't. I dunno, that's what came with the pod so that's what I have. I don't really want a lightshow AFR gauge.

Anyone else with pics of a good spot or have experience with these gauges? What hole are you talking about for the idiot light? Lol, guess I'm an idiot!

Damn, and I just replaced that when I did my trans swap. Soooo, I can just take that out and put in the sensor for the autometer gauges? Hmm.....

Any word on where to put that water temp sensor?

anyone with a place to put the aux water temp sensor? I think I'll just put a T by the stock oil pressure sensor since you can T a pressure sensor.

I'd do it in here. Take out, drill in. Or find a T to attach...

I guess theres a block drain plug on the other end of the engine, maybe it fits your purposes. At least theres a FSB on it leakin.

Find a T, it's almost always the best and safest way.
