Interior Lighting problems

I bought my son a 1990 Maxima and there are a few lighting problems.
The light on the ac controls are real dim and can not be seen during daylight. You can't see the temperature digits! Whats the fix? Also are the power window and door lock buttons suppose to be lit on the drivers door?

Any help would be appreciated!

not sure about the AC lighting. could it be that it is stuck in "dim mode"(this would mean it doesnt get any more dim when the headlights turn on).
as for the locks and windows, the only button that has a light on my door is the "auto down" button/swtich for the drivers side window.

Power windows / locks are not lit. The only thing that is lit is the "auto down" switch on the drivers side. (one small green light on top). I would guess that you will probalby have to pull apart your temperature controls... I'm really not familar with that system...

Good luck,
