Fidanza Flywheel-
Lower Black Portion of my car repainted black + clearcoat, and the little baby rust spot fixed on my rear quarter panel.

CAI's are really easy to make, or just get one off of ebay for under $40.

DO NOT buy a 99 or possibly a 2000.

I had a 99 and they have a LOT of early model bugs. I joined a couple of boards and they have the same stupid problems. I got rid of it and now I am sporting an OBS 6.5L turbo diesel 4x4. Purrs like a kitten.

As for how I am spending my money, unfortunately not much of it will be Maxima related. Since the car hasn't had anyone interested in buying, I am thinking about upgrading to some good components up front and adding an amp just for my sub.

The rest of the money will likely be used for a new 42" LCD or plasma.

I am getting $1500 back, so maybe $1k for the TV, a couple hundred for the speakers and maybe a hundred for a used amp.

I bought another 3rd gen with my fed rebate. As seen (and mis-yeared b/c i wasn't paying attn to the year) in my "might be selling my max next month" thread. Still haven't decided which to keep. 90GXE 5spd swap vs 89SE 5spd. Everything works on the 89 except there are no fogs and i reeally like the keyless entry feature (which maybe is transferable from a JY GXE???) and also the electronic trunk popper (which i can get from the JY...)

That would be exactly like mine, except I have a 94 with no mods. Mine is a HALF Ton diesel, extra cab 4x4 short bed. I keep searching Craigslist for a wrecked 95+ so I can get the interior out of it. I have a bench seat with no armrest and I like having an armrest. Plus, the guy used it for a farm/hunting rig and it is really dirty. I have vacuumed it out a hundred times and I can still smack the seat and a big cloud of dust come up.

Mine is just going to sit in my savings as long as possible. I'm not paying $1000+ to replace my 27" CRT with a flat screen just cause it's cool. I have four vehicles so I'm not buying more of them. The Max is modded enough for me right now and none of the others makes me want to mod them. I have 10+ computers so I don't need more of them. I have three guitars that I haven't touched in a couple months so no more there either. I've got more electronic gadgets then I know what to do with. Blah!

Nice to have an extra cushion in the bank I guess. Oh well.

i just paid off one of my credit cards, paid half of my other card, gave part of it down to get my new 335i twin turbo and the rest was for new pads, rotors, oil filter, oil, and euro headlights for my 3rd gen. the rest is in my savings for my monthly payments on the bimmer. as for the other amount that everyone is getting after the tax refund well, i gave it to my parents for the mortgage on the house even though i didn't want to since i was gonna use that to buy new shocks for the 3rd gen. oh well, they have done more than enough for me and i guess its time to pay them back for all of that.

just tell her that as the cars get older they'll overheat without the thermal spacers

she'll hear "thermal" and "heat" in the same sentence and say "oh, well i guess $150 isn't as bad as having to buy another car!"

if i dont already have my control arms, injectors, or exhaust, i will begin then.

if i do, which i doubt, i'll look into buying either some 18" for $600 or some cobra 17's for 350, throw some 'butters' in the inside, or hid's.

any other idea's?????

k, but don't expect to see Rush in concert up there anytime soon. We'll take them for ourselves.

o and the thing we had in the US was "rebate"... regardless if you owed or got a return. I got a $1000 return (ftl they had my moneys all year! i needed that stuff!) and then a month later the $300 rebate. others got more if they had kids or were married, etc.

Justin Timberlake knocked her up.. lol i heard that on the radio today.

Well I see alot of people are being smart and paying off bills, if my Max was already modded some, id save my money.. but it NEEDS suspension, and the rest i just WANT.. lol
