cruise control

just a random question, my cruise control doesn't work, the only thing that does work is the little green light that comes on when u push the button, and thats the light on the button lol, i switched the relay fuse things under the hood to see if that was the problem but that wasn't it, are there anyother ideas why it doesn't work (the cruise light on the dash doesn't turn on at all either...just the light on the button)

Does your horn work?

Yeah I know that's a weird question, but I found that the two share the circuit from the steering wheel. They share a fuse. If your horn works then the fuse is okay.

You could try checking the switch from the steering wheel and see if there is a continuity break there.

When I first got my car, the cruise didn't work. I got the entire CC assembly that's under the hood from a junkyard and swapped it in and no problems since.

It was the part with the green sticker on it in the pic (not sure it's the same on the VG, but should be similar):
