CAI question

I've searched and noticed that everyone says the sound from a CAI on a VG has a great agressive sound to it but my noob question is does that sound fade away at some point? I didn't really see anyone saying that the noise fades away but I plan to order one from Warpspeed soon and I was wondering about that. Some people have said that noise is so loud it turns heads in traffic which I can see myself loving to death. But I figure going from stock air box the noise will be different at first but after a bunch miles on it will change or the noise may quiet down not sure though. Thanks

btw for those who drilled a hole in the fender where exactly did you drill the hole?

It will not quiet down, you'll just get used to it.

that's how it sounds when you punch it a little bit

except mine is a HAI minus resonator, but the sound will be similar. this is what my s-pipe looks like. a bit crude but whatevvah.

Maybe a full exhaust... but I didn't notice that much of a sound increase when I put my Warpspeed Y-pipe on. Maybe a bit more screamy at high rpms.
