removed pinstripes

removed pinstripes

hey there. if your lookin to free up some extra horses, remove your pinstripes. I'm close to 220 hp now that i've gotten those suckers off.

did they leave a place where u can tell the outside paint from what was under that strips?

no sir. not at all. i was pretty surprised though. i thought it would be brighter compared to the rest of the car but you can't even tell. All I did was after i took off the stripes was wiped it clean with some wax stuff my sister got from Honda when she bought her 01 civic. I'll post pics tomorrow.

i also removed mine and it probably added about 50-60 front wheel hp! just kidding!

anyways, they are easy to remove. just use a blow dryer and they will peel right off. then i used goo gone to remove the sticky stuff that it left behind. took me about 2 hours.

you can't really tell where they were. if you get in the right light, you can see that it is a little darker where they used to be, but you have to really try hard to see it, and you have to get at an angle and hold you face right up to the car.
