spoiler options and suggestions please

I want to replace my OEM foam spoiler that I added a couple of years ago with a fiberglass/plastic aftermarket one with the same shape. Mine is too heavy for the trunk to open sometimes and the paint is beginning to chip.

Suggestions?

One with an LED would be nice but not necessary.

PS mine is also for sale for all you local NY guys.

do they mount into the stock holes that the old spoiler comes out of? and how do they mount at the edge?

for everyone's reference of said WW spoiler, see MOTM Bru91

I have a suggestion on what NOT to buy. I bought one claiming to be an oem replacement from one of those car-parts sites that all have different names, but sell the same products. It is a decent spoiler, not foam, but the holes do not line up and I need to buy a new trunk-lid or do a lot of work to my current one. I still have not put it on yet because of all the fab work that will be necessary. But if you have a GXE trunk lid, go for it.

change the torque springs in the trunk to ones for a spoilered trunk.

I kinda want to know how hard it would be to put an Eclipse, Supra, or 3000GT stock spoilers on our cars or one similar to them (Honda makes some). I know I'm probably not winning friends by saying I kinda like big round spoilers but I know I ain't making downforce on the right set of wheels no matter what spoiler I get so it may as well look the way I like them.

Yeah I have the same spoiler as Bru91 because I thought it looked so good. You'll have to modify the trunk a bit though.... I also reccomend creating a rubber gasket between the fiberglass spoiler and trunk, to keep water from rusting anything out.

Maybe I should save my leftover RTV and make a nice silicone one whenever I do if I ever do get a spoiler.
