Does anyone have a pic of where the vss is on the vg? I swapped gauge clusters yesturday.Everything works except for the speedo and odometer.I did a search found some info and found out that it could be the speed sensor.Im not exactly sure where it is!

For future reference, please use a thread title that helps give us an idea of what you need... 99% of the "please help" threads, I just skip over... Instead, try something like "looking for speed sensor" or "need help with speed sensor issue".. it will also help other people that have the same problem later search for the issue....

Just some friendly advice.

 

So I've been driving my car around with no speedometer for like a month now. I looked at this picture: http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...r/IMG_0013.jpg and there are two wires coming from the black thing, one is loose, one is attached to it. I'm not so sure what I'm supposed to do, the loose wire ran to this sensor looking thing, and everything was plugged in, the other part I dont know where because I would have to get under the car.

Can anyone tell me specifically, what I should be looking for??

 

do you mean 2 wires wrapped in a single wire wrap? or 2 harnesses (with multiple wires inside each)? See the oil pressure sensor plug and the speed sensor plug are right next to each other up by the fuel lines. Speed sensor harness has 2 wires inside it.

 

Both go to senors on the top, the loose one is on the right side, the other one is attached by something to the black piece These are TWO thick wires.

Should I be looking at the senor on the left? They have little tiny wires inside of them coming from the thick black wires.
