Please Help!!!!

Ok... I've been dealing with this ordeal of getting my car fixed for the past month. The final analysis was three injectors blown, so the fuel regualtor, injectors, rear fuel rail, injector harnesses, etc. have all been replaced. The mechanic calls today and says that all functions of the engine are working fine now (after leak-down compression check, etc...), but now there is an extreme loss of power. He seems to think catalytic converter, could this really be the problem or something else?

I say:

1. you should have emailed me about injectors.. I have a full set, including the fuel rail and harness sitting in my garage waiting for a new home.

2. your mechanic should be able to find that problem ebtter than any of us can diagnose it online. if he can't do his job better than that, he shouldn't be taking money to work on cars.

Cat problem

A cat problem would showup as decreasing vacuum ata steady throttle opening, as the exhaust backed up and prevented the cyl's from filling, often the cat will glow if it's real bad, and you should have a fairly prro exhaust note too..

Matt93,
Hey, how much would you want for the injectors, etc?
