What do you all think about these HU's?

I want to get a system in the long run, but for now since I don't have too much money to spend on my car, I would like to just buy a decent HU which will just power my Bose speakers.

How about the Kenwood KPC-316S or the Kenwood KPC-416S (the stats are on Crutchfield)? I don't know too much about what's good quality, but these seem decent enough for my needs, and they won't bankrupt me:
KPC-316S = $170 with $20 rebate and free remote from Crutchfield.
KPC-416S = $150 from Zeb with nothing else

I'm leaning towards the 316 since it cost the same but comes with a remote, but the 416 retails for $250 (316 retails for $200). What are the differences?

Please help me out. Oh, what is the harness adaptor at Best Buy, etc called and how much? Where can I find the antenna adaptor? Thanks!!!

350 shipped with 225/50/Z16 Yok's (~80% tread left). There were some scratches but nothing serious.

Does anyone have ideas on the adaptors I need to buy (harness and antenna)? I know many people have done this whole Bose conversion thing too.

You should probably post this question in the audio and electronics forum.

I PM'd you. I never check PM's, so that's probably why you never actually got anything.

either HU sounds ok. i could not find an antenna adapter anywhere, i had to go to my local car audio install place to find one, or radio shack can order it if you want to wait. the harness you can find anywhere. they are easy to find. i have a sony HU and am still using my front BOSE speakers and it works fine, but they will probably sound like crap in 3-7 months so start thinking about buying even a cheap set. if you have ant ?'s feel free to PM me
