Hey guys, well my cousin is a mechanic and he has made me an offer that seems pretty good. He's been helpin me out with my car and aftermarket installs.. anyway, he saw my straight pipe, pointed out that the welding job I paid $80 for was crap, and said he would redo my exhaust system, putting on a custom wide y pipe, b pipe, and putting on a better, wider straight pipe from the new b pipe.. anyway, I'm wondering if this option would be as better, equal, or worse than a WarpSpeed Y pipe. It would certainly be a lot cheaper, as he'd do the labor for free, so all I'd need to buy is piping as he can mandrel bend it too, but will the performance get significantly beefed? Thanks for any info on this!

 

Well since he is going to do all the welding for free then I'd say go for it. I would say gains should be about the same as any other pipe.
