Look what followed me home.... (bandwagon thread)

Yup.. I jumped on it too. Picked this up on Friday... Just freakin tired of always having to work on the car just to get back and forth to work. Last weekend I replaced a blown shock and figured out I had another blown shock and ALL the bushings were worn out (again), not to mention every seal on the bottom half of the engine is leaking oil like a sieve... And the battery is dead yet again.

So enough's enough. I'm moving on. Maxima is getting parked until I feel like ripping it apart and playing with it as a toy instead of a daily driver.

Ummm, ya think I own enough Nissans yet?
Only one pictured that isn't mine is the Altima- that's my sis in-law's...

of course it's a 6MT.
everything you see in that pic except the altima is a manual tranny....

the red 240 is my track car.
gold 240 is a (totalled) parts car

Nice G35.

I parked my Maxima about 3 months ago as well. My RAV4 V6 is my daily driver now.

The Maximima was still reliable at 195,000 miles, but a lot of the seals were beginning to leak oil on mine as well. It can use a timing belt soon also.

My Maxima battery was dead this morning as well.....

Any plans for mods on the G35?

Nice car Matt. I also like that rear window on the Maxima. I see you still haven't gotten it tinted. did you ever get all of the locks/keys switched over?

I feel your pain there, my house is a whopping 822sq ft. until the next few years I plan on doing an addition to my remodeled detatched garage which will take 750 sq ft, but overall make it about 2k sq ft because the garage is a pool room, with no garage door now.

Nice rider, good to hear your not scrapping the maxima

Matt was also nice enough to pick up my car in Houston and drag it to Dallas. Didn't have enough time to drive to OKC after flying back into Houston from Michigan for the holidays. Had to fly from Houston to OKC for 2 months of job training 6 hours after landing in Houston. I rented a car (Chrysler 300 w/ a GUTLESS 2.7L V-6) and drove it to Dallas, had my buddy follow me and the Maxima back in the Chrysler.

Glad to have my car back, but now I am getting serious about replacing the Maxima as a daily driver with a Corvette of some type when one at the right price comes along...The Maxima will stay with me tho...part time daily driver and backup car...

Thanks for the delivery again, Matt!

lol at "followed me home"

It is frustrating not being able to rely on your 'reliable' daily driver, im in that boat as well, ya need a daily driver for your daily driver basically

I swapped the keys over, but never got around to tinting the windows.

I thought about a coupe, but I wanted 4 doors. Plus the sedan is lighter than the coupe.

Because I couldn't fit all the stock parts inside... OE brakes, wheels & tires, suspension, exhaust, Coupe seat.....
