I'm just trying to sample the pool of owners here. Who would like and actually spend 400-500 for the VB modification for their VG auto? Every 4th and 5th gen owner has loved it. I haven't heard of any bad comments. Don Does it for the 5th, 4th, and 3rd gen VE AUTO onwners.

I think Don may be dissapointed in the response to his VE auto VB. I haven't heard ANYONE that has bought it. So...what is the realistic demand here for a vg auto vb?

I'm in after the 1st of the year.

Well......

when are you gonna buy it? Do you need a rebuild or just the VB?

I would be down for that.....

However I don't have a 3rd gen . Also my uncle won't let me "borrow" his car for a day either to test it out.

im so down for the VB mod...i think the reason why he's not getting a huge response is that most of us are VG owners and the one's that have VE's tend to be 5spds...

It's something I'd like to have, but then I look at the price and condition of my tranny...
it's got 115k on the original tranny, and when I unplug my drop down resistor, the tranny ECU gives me error codes if I drive above 90.. kaleb's new tranny doesn't do that.. Soooo, I have a feeling mine's not goign to last too much longer.. when this one goes, I dunno whether I'll rebuild or replace.. either way, I'm gonna need all the $ I can get in order to afford the tranny.. once I get a new/rebuilt tranny in it, then I might worry about the VB mod..

you said this was only for the VE auto cars anyway, right?
just a thought, but I was at the junkyard the other day and there was a VE max that some guy had tried to rebuilt the tranny himself.. screwed up, then just sold the car to a salvage yard- tranny in the trunk in pieces.. the VB was sitting in the back seat..
I forgot how much the guy was asking for it, but if someone wants to buy it for a "spare" I'm sure I could work out a deal on it.
