Maybe this is a dumb question, buy why wouldn't you put the sr20det in a sentra? Sure I know that 200-300hp will work well in the max, but it would work much better in a sentra. If I had the money and the means to do what you are planning to do, I would sell the max and buy a beater sentra. Just my opinion though.

 

Yes, I read that post also. Off hand, I would say no to the swap because of the possible torque liablity. But torque is torque. Who cares where it comes from. The only thing I would be worried about is the torque CURVE. If the SR20DET can't generate enough torque down low, the car might feel sluggish until the boost comes on. I imagine it will get worse as the mods pile on. But it's only an guess on my part. This could be one of more cool swaps to come so I'm all for it just to see what happens.
