I just had my neons installed, and my air bag light is on, and i have no power to my door step lights, my audio system, or anyhting. is a fuse gone, or is it osmething more serious? they only tapped my cig lighter for power and ground for a switch light, I dunno if they messed anything else up. they didnt do anythign in the engine bay, but I do remember when he was installing the neons he touched the power to the battery and the neons flickered, i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

how'd you install them? there's no way to know what's wrong if you don't tell what you did.

The same thing happened when I was messing with my clock. All lights, radio, air bag, and power seat belts quit. There was one fuse blown when I checked them. It's labelled "electron bat," and it's highlighted in white on the fuse panel diagram. THis fuse fixed all the problems.

it WAS the "ELECTRON BATT" fuse, whatever that is? but i'll stick it in a faq, symptoms were:

auto seatbelts don't work, door step lights wont work, clock wont work, airbag light is on, stereo wont turn on, cig lighter doesnt work

 

or you could just look on my site under "fuse descriptions" and find all those items listed under one fuse

usually when that many things go wrong all at once, it's a fuse or something related to that

i'm curios, what exactly is an "electron batt"

 

i'm guessing that electron means electronic. but anyway, bat means battery, and it means that it has power all the time. the fuses with acc mean that they get power when the key is in the acc position, and the ign is the same, but for ignition. get it?
