I raced one of my car club members last night down the city streets and highway. he has a very nice camaro that is a v6 3.8. so thought hell give it a shot. well we raced at 4 lights in a row going at up to 80 mph between each light inside a high police area. Well anyway he had me light to light by about 1/4 to 1/2 a car length i had my power switch on and i was going from 1st to 2nd and then drive. but to no luck. but when we got on the highway thats a whole diff story. we raced again starting side by side about 60 mph. i took him by about 1 -1 1/2 car lengths, by the time i was looking back i was doing 130. He said he topped out about there. i told him i wouldnt be an easy win and i wasnt. goes to show even the old family car can kick some camaro A$$!

I have no engine mods just very well maintained. I will get pcs of his car and mine together really soon. i have a olympus digital camera now and a smart media card reader so its all pics all the time now!

It would be hard for you to beat them off the line if at all. However from a roll the VG would hang with a VQ for just a second. BTW all V6 camaro's have a 109mph speed limiter too .
