Attn Turbo Maximas!

hey guys i really need your help. i am purchasing 2 turbos and 2 intercoolers off a pair of saab 900s's. they are both in excellent shape and have the same mileage!!! i couldn't believe it. anyway, i really need your help and advice on this project. we're currently working out the manifold problem, but i was wondering what problems you guys had. what the shop is planning on doing is running a turbo at the end of each manifold. this was the easiest way we could think of to turbo the max. this way we run about 4 lbs of boost from each turbo (4lbs after intercoolers) and hopefully won't have too much turbo lag problems. Dunk's race shop can and is going to make me head gaskets to lower compression, and since it's a VE block, it's cast iron (unlike vq's) what we were worried about is some of the problems you have encountered. Bad detonation, idle problems etc. i would really appreciate it if some of you would contact me either through hotmail flyry110@hotmail.com or over aim flyry110 My goal is to build something that will at least keep up with phil. thanks guys. i appreciate the help.

BTW, what kinda headgaskets will they be making you? Material? Price? Availability? Thanks..

Why are you trying to do a TT conversion? Was it me or do you even have enough clearance on the rear firewall to even house a turbo. It would be better to just sell one or both turbos and get you a hybrid T3/To4E. With 4lbs of boost you wont' see much effect from the IC so basically its alot of $$ being wasted. Email Czar about manifold idea's and in the meantime what kind of fuel upgrades are you doing? I know that the SR20DEs that go turbo use either 370cc injectors or 50lb injectors (with a custom fuel rail) and a turbo programmed JWT ECU, plus your choice of a walbro or Z32TT fuel pump. This is the easiest most reliable way to go. However if you could shoehorn that other turbo in there it would be cool .
