STRUT TOWER BAR QUESTIONS????

i just bought a strut tower bar for my maxima, Its a 93 gxe. I am a little concerned about the clearence of the A/C hose that I had to raise in order to get the thing connected, and now the hood is a little bit raised on the passenger side because of the A/C hose had to be raised. Is it something to be concered about or is it ok. The strut tower bar works great!! any suggestions??

You need to push the a/c line down a bit, then install the bar with the ac line under the strut bar, not over it.

it's not the bar that matters, it's the brackets

Well I tried to push it down before installing it, but it won't really move downward. I had to unloosen a screw that was holding the A/C hose down, in order to get it to move a little, then i pushed it up, and managed to manuveur the bracket underneath it, with the hose on sitting on top of it(A/C hose) I guess I will try to unbolt it tomarro and see if i can get the A/C hose to go down a bit, which I doubt.

well, yeah you have to unbolt the 10mm bolt so that you can move the A/C hose down to install the FSTB on top of it.

Well thanks for the advice, I managed to get the A/C hose under the strut bar, and it really took only like 15 minutes to do it, now the hood closes like it should. Thanks alot!!
