I am having this problem of my rear windows not coming up all the way, I tried swapping the regulators, and the tracks on both of them and they still will not come up all the way, I even switched one of the windows to see what would happen and got the same results. WHat am I doing wrong here. The car that I got the window and regulator from had the window fully up, so I was thinking maybe I should get this one then. Got it all out and installed it, and got the same result in my car. Any suggestions???

 

loosen the regulator bolts and slide the window all the way up and then retighten the bolts. That should work depending on how far off the window is from closing.

 

THANKS I WILL TRY THAT TODAY, Its only like 2 inches from closing on the passenger side, and maybe 1in on the driverside.

 

2 inches is awfully far. there isn't that much adjustment.

Well I got it, I loosened the regulator bolts, pulled the window up, and then tightened the bolts, and it comes up much farther than before. pretty much closes except for the slant which it wont go all the way into. Basically it wont fit the window track fully when going up. The part of the window near the vent glass goes up all the way, and the part of the window opposite the vent glass does not go up evenly like the other side will, it leaves a small gap. Well I probaly get some vent shades and call it a day. Just when it gets cold ill take it off the regulator and slide it up so that it fully closes.
