JWT ecu question

ok, i'm working on that TT project for my VE, i know i need fuel upgrades as well, but one of the things i defenitely need is the ECU mapped for boost. . . . One of my honda buddies was saying i might be able to get away with an FMU. if i buy my JWT now, can i reprogram it later for boost? how does that work? i already aquired an apexi fuel management controller, but that's gonna be for just looks right now. and to keep track of my air/fuel (i'm running rich for some reason). anyway, any help would be appreciated. OH, I also tried teh FAQ's and a search and couldn't find anything on this. thanks.

Re: JWT ecu question

Thats easy, if you bought a JWT ECU now it would be around $500-600 depending on where you get it from. After that any reprogramming minus the n2o program is $100 from JWT.

Why TT? A stock VE will only handle xxx psi anyway. A small single will begin spooling before 2000 rpm. If you are going to build the VE, what parts are you going to use? Especially the headgasket? Again a V6 should have plenty of exhaust to spool any small/mid-sized turbo.

TT has just never been done. Dunk's race shop can make me the head gasket. the good thing about the VE is it's cast iron, unlike the aluminum VQ. i can run more boost. I'm looking into pistons right now. . . .

but still why do TT if you can do about the same with a single setup....more trouble just to be unique
