I have thetriple gauge pod. It has Short Sweep Autometer Phantom voltage, oil pressure, and water temp gauges. The voltage will be swapped for a boost gauge in the future though.... but that's neither here nor there.

Finally! thank you sir. looking sweet.

kringle03: it is secured with 2 screws that come with the pod.

yep... two screws.

And thanks for the compliments! I like my custom interior. The suede headliner is the best part... though I do like my custom leather as well. The gauge pods are pretty cool... they glow blue at night if I switch them on.

What head unit is that? Looks nice and flush with the dash. The cheapy one I picked up for my new VE sticks out about an inch. I hate it!

Pioneer DEH-P9800BT

I love it... the sound is amazing. Look on ebay and don't pay more than $280-300 shipped. Mine came WITH an ipod unit and 10gb ipod for $300. It was used for a week, but who cares? If you wait long enough, one will come around for that price... maybe even lower now, as that was about 2-3 years ago.

funny, all the H/Us I put in never stuck out. They all did have a gap around the perimeter though.

And you mounted them with the stock tab thingys that hold in the cupholder tray? The two most recent H/Us I put in my 3rd gens both stick out. I mean, the physical H/U itself sits flush with the dash, but then when you put the face on the face sticks out depending on how thick the face is

yeah, it was on the stock brackets. The faceplate does stick out a bit on radios with removable faceplates. it has to, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get it on and off. Some brands have very thick faceplates so they don't look as nice as the thinner ones.

Matt used to have a super nice setup. It was before Lotek started making the pod. He had some pretty nice mounts and had a 3 gauge setup IIRC. There may be a pic or two still floating around on here of it
