WATER BEHIND/ IN DASHBOARD?

I have a 92 se dohc that I'm fixing up and I need some help from you guys. There seems to be water trapped behind my dashboard! I hear it swishing around when I drive or make a turn. Does anyone know How i can drain it or where behind the dash water can collect. It sat for a few years un-covered. During a heat wave in NYC, I sounded like it may have evaporated because the sound sort of went away, but now its back! Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

yea that's an air bubble in your heater core. jack the front of the car way up in the front, then remove the radiator cap and crank the car and let it burp out all the bubbles. VE should bleed better than the VG, so i've heard.

Maybe it is in your cooling system, but to me, it sounds like your ac drain is clogged. Open up your heater core under the dash on the passenger side. Take a hose with an end you can turn the spray on and off, then spray the coil and spray the drain plug. You can also just push your finger against the drain plug on the fire wall or lightly push a small screw driver in through the opening to get anything out that is too tough. Just make sure you wipe out the core and let your fan run to dry things out. Reality is, when running ac in the summer, the core in the heater box will naturally act as a dehumidifyer. This is also why there are drains on home systems too.
