tail lamp fuse
remove all bulbs and inspect their contacts as well as the contacts inside the sockets. if they are flattened or spread out, they might be combining both circuits (dim and bright) through the same fuse, and blowing it. I had this issue in 2007. new socket board and new bulbs, and it never happened again.
