What kind of reasonable 1/4 mile goals could I expect with my N/A VE. 5 Speed, CAI, full exhaust, and ECU?

well->

Low 10's I hope!! hehe. I don't know low mid 15 are about the norm so I hope you could get into the high or mid 14's. I think that would be considered pretty good. I wonder if the Ve LSD would factor in any?

It seems like an upgrade clutch would help with the giddyup. I was kind a surprised that Jeff K stayed oem on replacement. What was your main reasoning for staying OEM?

Well I got a sob story for ya->

I was one of those dumb****s who was suckered into buying the key value ****. So whan I raised hell, the dealer said they would give me the PROPER oem clutch for cost. Plus aftermarkets clutches are about $350+. I hear from most guys that even w/ mods, the CORRECT oem Nissan clutch holds fine. I will get the flywheels lightened though. Again cost is a factor, aftermarket alumnim flywheels cost $500+. So it adds up quick!

Got you thinking you could start another one?

On the 3rd BBS this time right?

Well, I guess you initiated this flame.
I'm a smack-talker you say? It's only right for me to defend myself. Re-read my/your posts so you can see that you are wrong and there was no point in starting this.

It's good to know that the Gen. Disc. Flame War got you *thinking* for once.

Dood........

I don't see what the big deal was? I mean he said he beat a VE auto right? So big deal it has 190hp he has 160 stock. He has an Intake, y , and greddy. That may not be 190 but could be up around 180. ALSO....ve's only make 190ft-lbs of torque....only 8 more that a vg. From experince when I added my y and intake on my vg I did gain LOW END torque not just high end hp. SO....say nailing an auto at like 70 will put the vg in 3rd gear at around 3500 or so....right in the "meat" of its powerband. Figure he CAN be making more than 190ft-lbs like the ve and CAN pull away. Also....street racing is SO variable. If he has a better reaction time on the hwy he car pull away even if the other car is a tad bit faster.

I'm too tired to type now.....but it can happen....I need a ve auto to race me. I'd say if coolmax gets the ecu....which I hope he does....he'd probably have more hp than the ve. Couple that with a better low end than a stock ve and it should beat one hands down....now a 5sp is a different matter

BTW: Do you hear that tapping....?

You don't have to do nothing. But don't start no VE smack.
NFW.
Sound familiar?

You tend to get involved in things you don't need to be involved with; and they both happen to involve Jeff92SE(My responses to him). Get the point? I'm not talking to you in those posts
In fact I have one guy supporting me.

Again, my smack might be in that post, only because you brought me out with your smack. By the way...you didn't really respond to my previous post.

No problem amax935.
See I'm a nice guy, I'll admit when I'm wrong. But it's only fair for anyone to defend themselves when they are essentially called a liar; I'll fight to the fullest in that case.

So if your apology is sincere, not just to shut me up, then it is sincerely accepted.
