(Question originally posed here:http://forums.maxima.org/7287478-post14.html I thought it deserved a little more attention)

This is a really good point. Yahoo shut down GeoCities a little while back. Does anyone know if the .org members who had GeoCities sites transferred the info elsewhere? If not, we just lost some great info...

If you looked at his site very recently & haven't cleared your cache, you could possibly pull the info from any of his pages you visited and save it.

I am at work and the filter won't let me try this but go to the below site and paste the old address into the field and see if it was archived.

http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

Craig's old address
http://www.geocities.com/bracecraig/maxima/wiring.html

If it is someone can save the file and share it or create a new page. Looks like they took down Geocities all together.

Being that I have his Maxima now, yes, I read his stickies every now and then. I haven't been on in a long time and found out the terrible news though.

Oh great, I suppose all the pics I've posted that were hosted by Geocities are now broken links. Wonderful, there's a reason I chose Geocities to host them, I figured they wouldn't ever go down. I guess the "new Yahoo" is a perfect excuse to kill millions of 10+ year old member pages.

I don't know that he has been on since he sold his Maxima (back in March 2, 2008). I tried PMing him about a couple of issues I was having with it at the time and never got a response.
