Want To Switch To Synthetic

Hiya Guys,

I really think it's time for me to switch my tranny to a Synthetic brand. What steps should I take to do this without screwing the tranny up?

What should I tell the transmission guy? What is the best brand Synthetic to put in? Should I watch out for specific brands or additives that are in the oil? Please give me a hand on this, I could certainly use the help....

Is this a stick or a slushbox? Different advice for different trannys.

Then try searching or read some FAQs. I'm sure this has been covered lots already.
