hey guys..I need your help..my 91 SE auto is stick in second gear and won't shift in to third or forth..any help would be appreciated.
I can't drive the car on the highway on second gear.

ohh c'mon guys I know someone on this board knows something about trannies....could it be some vacuum lines or electrical problem?
I need y'all help....PLEASE!!!

 

when did yu last replace the clutch?

 

it's auto......it was working fine last week.

 

you sure it's second gear? or third?

sounds like it's stuck in safe mode. what were you doing before this happened?
i.e. doing dumb sh*t to your car like trying to smoke the tires, or neutral drops, or just playing in the water?
Anything that causes the wheels to spin and the car detects it, it'll kick the tranny into safe mode.

did you shut the car off, wait a minute and start it back up, then try again?

If you did that and it's still doing it, then you need to take it to the shop. there's nothing you can do yourself, unless you have a service manual and the tools to pull a tranny.
