CPU DEAD!

CPU DEAD!
Sooooo my cpu just shuts down and yeah I bought a new one with the same numbers on it and the car started right back up... how ever when this cpu heats up the whole thing just shuts down again what could be the cause of this my peeps?

Check your voltage, the alternator might be putting out too much.
