my window is broken, please help!

Just yesterday my friend slammed the front passenger door and I think it must have knocked something loose because the window just dropped and I can't get it to go back up.
I read somewhere that it has to do with a regulator or something? Is this a commom problem? And is it something I could fix on my own?

Sounds like a broken regulator but check out Kalebs site.. I happen to have a spare pass front regulator for sale
