My 1989 Nissan Maxima 6Cyl 3.0L was passed down from my great grandma who passed away about a year ago came stock withouth the power option. I want to add a performance chip to in but i am not sure which one to get. Does anyone have any Idea which would be best? Thank

Why save my money, performance chip not worth it?

 

3rd gen stickies for ideas.Doing basic maintenance will yield more gains than nay chip IVe ever seen. Only ones Ive seen worth anything are for diesel trucks

 

Jim Wolf Technologies (JWT) makes stuff for the 3rd gens. Check out their website to see if they have what you're looking for.

Also, is your car an auto? Those auto's can't take too much power, so be aware of that if you drive it or plan on driving it aggressively.

 

you cant "chip" these cars....the ecu has to sent to JWT to be re-tuned to what ever kind performance characteristics you want....best thing to do is call JWT....

Any "performance chip" out there for a non-socketed-honda will be money better spent on aids infected prostitute. you'll get better performance, and you'll know something actually happened.
