help with reverse lights............

My damn reverse lights won't work. I checked the fuses, relays, and bulbs. All are fine. I also lifted the center console piece and the shift boot to see if there was a switch there, but all I saw was two electrical connectors, but with nothing connected to either of em. Is there a switch right on the tranny? (it is a manual) Or are those electrical connectors the ones? I did see two other connectors under the ashtray that also weren't connected to anything. Related?? HELP ME MAXIMA GURUS!!! YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE!!

When did they stop working? Was it recent? Have you been installing a radio or anything in the car that may have pulled the wires out because it sounds like if those two connectors match then that is your problem.

It was like that when I bought it. The connectors don't match each other or reach. I'm wonderin if there is another cable that that connects them that just may be missing.

Could be the switch near the tranny. This happened to me recently on my Mustang, brought it into the dealer, and they repaired it under warranty. Apparently the switch under the shift box was busted.
