Maxima weight?

I have a 91 Nissan maxima SE 5speed I wanted to know what's the real weight to this car?
How much lighter is it from the GXE with AUTO?
I noticed I could easily pick up the whole manual tranny it feels like a good 50 or so pounds...
But I couldn't for my life pick up the AUTO tranny and I had one shipped to me for my old GXE and it weighed 266 pounds on the shipping slip.

So if a GXE weighs 3100 stock what would a SE be with out all those extra luxury features the GXE only has? And I also have no trunk interior or spare tire and no rear bumper rail due to a rear end wreak. And I removed all of that rubber floor mat stuff under the carpet.
Do you think I'm around 2700-2800?

go to the landfill and they will weigh it on the scale for you. Every car is different

best way is to see if they can sneak you onto a semi truck scale

im pretty sure stickshifts weigh less compared to a auto, both with fluids in them because autos take way more fluid. and youve got the torque converter on autos as well. 92-94 3rd gens may weigh a bit less because the roof is a few inches shorter compared to 89-91's

spare tire takes some weight off, but trunk interior and all that stuff will shave like milliseconds off of a quarter mile time. if you want to lose weight, youre looking at custom carbon fiber body panels and all that jazz worth thousands of dollars

That I will agree with on the weigh station scale. 5spd trans weighs around 80lbs. The 5spd SE will weigh less than the GXE auto.

I have taken mine to the truck scales a few different times. I recall with only a driver seat (no one in the car), no sub and no spare, it was 3050 with maybe half a tank of gas?

I think when I weighed it "normal" it was 3250 or 3300. Leather interior, sub box and spare.
