custom coilovers
i just saw a youtude video of a guy making custom coilovers. has anyone try this method before? in the video he used ebay coilovers and grind down the factory structs where the factory springs seats on. it looks very easy to do and im tempted to try this. i have a local junkyard that has tons of 3rd gens.

since the set up of 2nd gen and 3rd gen are about the same, more then likely it would work out the same way it did for my 2nd gen. starts getting into it around post #31 http://forums.maxima.org/1st-2nd-gen...tention-2.html

This is how people do S13 coilovers on a Z31 in the front... except they cut the strut tube down all the way and weld a threaded tube onto it, then screw the threaded CO adapter into it, and then the S13 coilover threads into that. The Z31 front strut is similar to the Maxima's rear. The S13's front is similar to the maxima's front. Except both are shorter.
