leaky moonroof

I have tried readjusting my moonroof of my 1990 Maxima with shims several times because it keeps leaking. I recently read that my moonroof may be leaking because the drains are plugged. Does anyone know where they are and how to unplug them?

I know this is terribly hard to see, but it looks like it's on the front passenger side.

Open the sunroof. Go underneath your car. In the rear, below the quarter panel just behind the muffler, you will see a hose pointing towards the car's center line. Blow air thru it and I believe there's also one on the opposite side.

For theblackone 3.5

What a brilliant idea! I never would have thought of that. Oh, wait a minute, I did think of that. Except, I don't have a manual (uAl, not uEl). That's probably why I posted it on this website. Here's a thought. Let others answer who may be both more knowledgeable and better spellers.

For you other gentlemen, thanks very much. I'll give it a try.

i had the same problem. the tube is located in the rear passenger side. up in the headliner, if you pop it out a little you can see the rubber hose attached to the sunroof frame (blow air thur there). each corner of the car has a rubber hose connected to the sunroof frame but its most likely the problem is the rear passenger side because that hose leads off to the bottom rear passenger next to the muffer. and it has a t-fitting that is know to get clogged. i just took off the t-fitting and ran it straight down thru the hole under the car next to the muffer. good luck
