Passenger side cornering light

Ive been trying to figure out why the drivers side cornering light brightens up but the passenger side doesnt when the turn signal is switched over in my 91 nissan maxima se. Any ideas why and how to fix this?

Replace the bulb.

The bulb is an 1157 dual-filament type. Chances are the bright filament is blown (happens from normal usage). Replace the bulb and you'll be fine
