Which is fastest NA 300zx, 92-94 se Max, or 240sx?
Just wondering what you guys opinions are of these cars, which is the best and which is the fastest? Which is the best deal and which has the most potential? Interstest for possible future car since I would like to stay with Nissans.

with some mods in that car it will look AMAZING and drive 100 times better then a older maxima
i mean dont get me wrong maximas and the 300zx are great cars (all nissans are)

240 best all around, most aftermarket following and best lookin' to me (after the gods at cwest or bomex, or veilside get a hold of it)

truly though in my heart a 5spd Z32 wouldn't be that bad.....I know its heavy as hell and all, but I love the look of them and they've got enough mods to get it going pretty good! but still the best all around choice is probably the 240, hands down!

ive driven the vg30de Z and a 91 240ka24de and a 95 240ka24de but no ve30de max,Have driven the vg30de max all of which 5speed,max pulls hardest no question about it,Z feels heavy and bulky,240 feels sluggish
I would say go for the 240. Best handling by far and a huge aftermarket following. It's easy to turn one of those into a beast (sr20det!) and depending on the year they're look pretty good. Of course the max is in a different category, but if you wanna roll around with several friends in comfort, look good and still be fast you can't beat it. As for a NA Z don't bother.

I raced a stock 91 240 5spd and he was next to me up until 75 mph. I am pretty modded, so I say go with the 240. But, you have to get 5spd. I also raced a 94 240 Auto at the drag strip. He ran a 17.80 in Vegas.
