pics after new suspension

this weekend, I replaced my suspension with the help of a few friends
we had a couple small problems but it wasn't all that bad in the end

I got the eibachs used from Mr Rose (thanks Jason) and I bought KYBs from got rice? (www.eatricezone.com) for $186.
The drop is nice but not slammed. The handling is very much improved over my stock suspension before (I had only FSTB before). It corners very nicely now. The ride is a little bit rougher over normal bumps on the road but not too bad; definitely worth it to me.

New pics are on page 5 of my cardomain page since I can't post them here

Craig I am seriously thinking about doing this to my maxima which is old but I will have it for awhile so I want to make it look good. I have a friend who can get the springs for me for 250. I can get the KYBs from him for probably 150 depending on how low I can bargain with him. Was it easy to install with all the right tools? It looks pretty tight on your car allow I would need some new rims

you will need lots of different size sockets (up to 23mm I think)
air tools are not required but without them, it'll take you forever
you also need a spring compressor which can be rented for cheap from pep boys or wherever
luckily my friend, Maxhawk, has all this and more in his garage so we did it in there
If you have access to all those tools, you should be able to do it
check out http://www.gen3.4mg.com/cgi-bin/fram...uspension.html for install info and all you'll need. I followed those directions and everything went pretty smoothly
let me know when you are gonna do it, maybe I could help out

lovin it Craig, lovin it! i notice that in some pics it looks like you have tint and others looks like theres no tint I STILL cant convince myself to go with those rims or not for my car geez what a decision...i always thought to myself that ur car would look good with a small drop; now i see it...how hard were the springs to install?

I told chris not to wear that stupid shirt for the pic but he did anyway, oh well

The reason it looks like there isn't tint in some pics is just because of the sun. Some of them were taken with teh sun directly behind the car and it makes it look like the tint isn't there much at all. It's not limo tint, I dont knwo the percentage either; it was like that when I bought the car so I've kept it that way

get some wheels

install wasn't too bad, just give you self some time and air tools help A LOT
