Just got a 91 SE

Hey all, welcome me to the board I just bought a '91 SE a couple days ago. It is light blue, in great condition and has 109,000 miles on it. I am lovin it so far, definately fast compared to my '89 Corolla The only thing that sucks is that it is an auto tranny, but I will get over it. I am sure I can still take a Civic Paid 4k for it which I think was decent with the miles it has. Anything I should know about the Maximas or antyhing I should be on the lookout for as far as known problems? I am looking to do a few mods to it like intake and exhaust, throw on some new 17"s and tint the windows. Definately needs a new stereo too. I will put up a page when I get access to a digi cam. Thanks for any input.

Welcome!

Like SEguy mentioned, the exhaust studs (ticking with a cold engine) are probably the biggest dollar fix for you VG guys. Windows sometimes stop rolling or fall down (not too bad I heard). Oh yeah, has the timing belt been changed? At 110,000 miles I hope so, otherwise you should get it changed ASAP - don't wait for that rubber band to fail!

Be sure to read the MaxFAQs on the main page, and read the Stickies at the top of the page for mod stuff. Also, read some member's homepages - they make for some good reading. The "search" function is also very handy when you're looking for details.
