Error code 5? Flashing 5 times? 5 to 8 flashes are supposed to indicate a wheel speed sensor fault.
Probably a wheel speed sensor needing replaced. Odds are its one of the front two (5 flashes indicates Front left sensor) in which case likely because the wiring was routed wrong and tore the harness out of the back of the sensor when the wheel was turned.
If you're lucky, it just needs to be cleaned. These sensors are difficult to find, I need both fronts because previous owner routed the harnesses wrong, in my case. Zero luck finding any used at yards. Lame!
EDIT: looks like you've already found the info, too slow on my part!

Cheers Levsimus for the Reply but yes after hour of searching I found what the 5 flashes meant, Who ever owned the car before me a tore the harness and taped it back together so it would work (intermittently) when I pulled it out to clean it the sensor came away from the wiring with ease, Lucky I have 2 1990 maximas so I did a swap and now im all good again (brought the 2nd one for parts but turned out to be better condition then the one I already had so now im doing it up, gets registered on Monday now
