When I put it in reverse and give it gas it shudders.
But if I just let it idle in and give it light gas it goes fine.
Any ideas?

 

gotta know if its a 5spd or automatic. 5spd, youre probably not giving it enough throttle and its shuttering. automatic, check for vacuum leaks in the engine bay. vacuum leak can make it want to stall in reverse

It doesn't want to stall it just shudders then stops when I lift off the gas.

Is one of the lights staying lit on the comfort and power mode switch beside your shifter? You could check to see if the tcm has any codes. I can't remember off the top of my head how to check but there is a write up on it if you search. I didn't have any codes on mine but i tried it anyway and it does work. You just have to read the flash codes like the diagnostic for the ecm. Search for the write up and see if you have any codes?
