Electrical issue

Hello

On rare occasions, my radio-C/D player momentarily loses power, then powers back up again. But, just recently, my ABS brake light came on for about 30 seconds before going off. And twice now, my seat belt light and dinger has come on for about 15 seconds, before turning itself off.

Anyone else ever have a similar issue? I cleaned the battery post and connections, and reattached. This did not seem to help.

Thanks
Russ

Check to see that your alternator is charging.

Thanks for the replies. It turns out that my somewhat new battery was defective (internal short) and my Alternator was going out. Replaced both, and now runs like a charm. And for whatever reason, it's nearly impossible to find a "new" Alternator for this model and year??? V6 SE with timing chain.
