Help with wheel bearing?

Hey guys so back in august i changed out my driver side wheel bearing. Only 3 months later and its making a really bad grinding sound again. So i took off the hub and spun it and it sounds bad again. I'm not sure why it went bad so fast idk if i did something wrong installing it maybe? Also the little rubber gasket thing around the bearing is really torn up to. I will put a picture up. Any reason why it would go out so fast or is it just bad luck with the new bearing. By the way they are ABI brand bearing and luckily i bought 2 of them because i was going to do both sides but just ended up doing the driver side since the passenger side is still good so i have a extra bearing. And i put a video of the sound.

Here's another pic of the bearing seal. I just notice that the wear on the seal is only on one side as you can see. Is that any indication of something?

when you pressed in the hub did you support the inner race of the bearing?
also was there wear on the hub itself?

I cannot contribute any if its pressed bearings, except for the bearings not greased and seated properly.

I would suggest buying the complete wheel bearing already seated and a simple swap out. I changed mine on a FX35 and was easier than going to a press shop...

Not that i recall. I just remember using the old bearing to hit the new one in. I am going to take it to a shop this time to have it pressed in.

Make eBay your best friend. Do a search and you will be surprised how much you will find there.

yeah but you need to support the inner race when you press the hub back in, otherwise the inner race is out of position along with the bearing seal. that bearing will be short lived.
