Parts still readily available?

I’ve been usimg my 3rd gen as a daily for the last 3 years and recently stumbled across this site. Guess I’ve been bitten by the bug and would like to do a bit of work on mine. Just wondering how readily available parts are still? I’m in Australia, and don’t mind ordering from OS, but local is always appreciated. Mostly looking to start with some new front springs, wheels, and either a mesh or USDM grille.

Hi Rik,

There are still parts available for your car, as a matter of fact, I went to the scrap auto parts Yesterday and bought a bunch of hard to find parts for my 1990 Maxima. The Nissan dealership, you can still order some parts. I just bought a brand new spoiler for my maxima. I being trying to purchase a grill from Australian market Nissan Maxima, but no success. May be you help me with what I need and I’ll help you with what you need. Shipping will be not a problem, my cousin works for FeDex. Let me know please. I’m thinking about going to the junkyard again this coming weekend.

thx

Jorge

Napa Auto supplied me with front and rear struts ... rack pinion steering assembly a year to two ago. The generation 3 is
one of the best designs Nissan made...imo. Bought mine new in 94...and have been driving it since.

Where did you get a new spoiler? This is quite possibly the most frustrating thing about a third Gen maxima... They don't look good with anything but the oem spoiler, but they are always in bad shape and not attached on the ends.

Hi,
I bought it from my local dealership here in Houston Texas. Mossy Nissan had to order it from the Nissan DC warehouse in Dallas Texas. Hre8is the update part number.
Also, is there any one out there that can help me to obtain a front grill from the Australian market Nissan Maxima J30? Here is a picture from long time ago post.

Sorry I thought I was in the fs section. Lol. Man I’m out of touch here. I need to revisit more it use to be a time I left a window open with the org on consistently every single day. Then I got 7 other cars and all the forums overwhelmed me. Now I come back home to what I remember.

Anyways, what dealership did you order that spoiler from. I direly need another factor spoiler
