I have a 1991 maxima se i just got the car and there are some things wrong with it but I'm trying to get the dome and clock on i read some where that there connected some how i check all the fuse's and not one is blown so i have no clue what to check for now the dome light it self is new so i know it's not that.

 

I don't think they are connected at all. The dome light can turn on even with the key in the ignition. The clock may have a busted capacitor. Who knows.
You should start with:
If you check / replaced the dome light bulb
If you check the dome light positions. OFF / DOOR / ON.
As for the the clock, try replacing it.
