Have you tried Amazon? That is where I get Cps for my 2003. When I enter a 1994 Nissan Maxima, I get a number of options for Cps.

89-94 GXE had VG30E
89-91 SE had VG30E
92-94 SE had VE30DE

You'll have to see what engine you have before ordering a crank sensor, i'm guessing it's likely VG30E if you did a straight swap. VE30DE had timing chain, coil packs and were twin cam, if your engine has timing belt/distributor it'll be a VG30E

It says VG30E on the firewall plate. I have no spark. Engine does have distributor I wasn?t aware those engines had a timing belt . I should probably do that also. The problem started with random stalling but would always start right back up and then be fine. Now it won?t start at all . No spark . I drove it that way for several years because it didn?t do it very often. Any idea on what I should investigate further? Thanks again you are very helpful.

No worries, it looks like RockAuto does have them in stock

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...on+sensor,7196

So you're getting no spark out of any of the spark plug wires? And are you sure the timing belt isn't broken? If the distributor rotor itself isn't turning when the engine is cranked that's telltale sign

Correct no spark any plugs. Time in belt, not broken. Everything turns as it should.

Hmm that's odd, when I search 1989 Maxima crank position sensor that's what I get back for images, what does the one you have look like?

If the timing belt isn't broken that's a good sign, have you checked all of the fuses & fusible links? You can try Ohm testing the ignition coil as well, generic AI search gives the below specs
