Just curious, 91 GXE vs 91 SE

Comparing these 2 together, who would win?
Just curious, there might be a race later on today.
I'm betting the 91 SE would win, but considering
both are basically stock, who knows?

They both have the same motor and both are
in the same condition (various speed dents)
I wonder...

If one is auto and one is manual, there you go. The SE's tighter suspension and larger tires will give better traction off the line. Basically I say the '91SE. Although I could be a little biased.

It comes down to who has better grippier tires if they're both auto. SE's don't have larger tires stock, and I don't put too much faith in the small suspension stiffess difference to affect it too much.

I consider both cars to be almost identical and it'll come down to tires, launch, and whose engine and tranny is in better shape.

if the SE's a 5spd, i'd say it comes down to the driver, he could always s*ck and loose, if it's an auto, i'd say it's just whichevery one's in better shape...ebgine/tranny

Actually, I think the SE's have 6.5" wide wheels and GXEs only a 6.0" which would be a 1/2 inch, I know the stock tires on the SEs were 205/65/15, but not sure about the GXEs though.. my guess would be 195/65/15?

Either way,
They are basically the same cars. All the little things would make some difference, maybe weight, tires, condition of the car.

Its draw, depending on all of the conditions mentioned above.

Noooooooo..... thou shalt not question this! Even though you got the wheel widths right on, the tires are the same size. I guess Nissan thought they'd try and stiffen up the sidewall with the wider wheel to improve handling.

Or give the SE the potential for larger replacement tires.
Plus they look better.

SE won, I think it's because it was lighter weight.
You know, the GXE has all that fancy keyless entry stuff

It was a barely kind of thing... the GXE got a slightly better
launch, but the SE inched away and was about maybe 1/2 a car length
by the end of the race (at about 60 mph)

my 93SE woulda whooped on both of them. too bad cuz they
were talkin so much **** about how fast their cars were
and my car was in the shop
