Mods to a 92 SE
Okay, I've got an Automatic 1992 SE, I'm lookin for some good, cheap, mods to it. I don't have that much money b/c I'm a student and i need somethin to work on so i'm gonna work on my maxima. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Cheap mods would be intake, FSTB, clear corners. I'll probably missing some others. If you want power, your first mod I think should be a y pipe. That combined with the intake will give you some gains. Just kinda hang around here and you'll learn some stuff. And make sure you use the search function unless you wanna get flamed. Just do a search for cheap mods or something like that

Well, first thing to ask is: what are you looking for? More power, or better handling, or looks, or just any general mods?
As said to someone else a few threads down, browse the member's pages, try a few searches (like "cheap mods" "beginner mods", etc, etc) to get a feel for what's out there for our cars.
Clear corners are cheap. A ghetto-rigged DIY cone filter intake is cheap. An Addco RSB is fairly cheap ($115-120). A WSP CAI is about $150. Their subframe connectors (SFCs) are not too expensive but will need a shop to weld them in.

for power, get a y pipe and either a popcharger or cold air intake. Try www.warpspeedperformance.com for the y pipe and CAI.
