stuck e-brake

hey all-

last night it got real cold and while driving early this morning my
e-brake was stuck. I have never had this problem before. What is going on here? I did a search but found nothing specific about our cars and a fix. I need to take the car for an hour drive up to seven springs ski resort on friday, so all help is appreicated.

Turn the car on, push the brakes several times and pump then for a few minutes then push the button on the ebrake and try and pull up as high as you can and you kinda have to yank on it, mine has done something like this before. I think that will fix it.

Don't use your e-brake when you park in the cold. Put it in gear. Your rear calipar(s) is/are frozen and if you go drivin like that you will burn up your pads. It happens to me and the only fix is to take the calipar(s) apart and try to fix/lube them or replace them. It sucks...
