Matt93SE recommends you drop a vg30dett engine into your Maxima first..then do the rest.

I think an all stock maxima with a body kit will look ghetto IMO. The exhaust and system are both nice, depends on what you want, a little extra power or a good sounding stereo. The exhaust will probably be much cheaper than an entire system.

1.Clear Corners- cheap mod ~$30
2.Pop charger(an intake) or Cold Air intake $175
3.Suspension - springs- ~$160 -struts- ~$300 (tokicos)
4.Y-pipe - www.warpspeedperformance.com ~$300

i still don't understand how people spend that much on stereos. i have a stereo that sounds as good as some people i know that put 3000 into it. i don't think i've even touched 1000 yet.

You pay for quality (or the market would have you think).

I have 2 12" Sony Xplod Dual voice coil subs
MTX Class D 1500W amp
Those alone are $800..leaving out my front and rear speakers and tweeters and other amp and farad cap and EQ, dynamat, sub boxes, rear surroundings..etc.

Your stereo could sound good for $1000 without a question..but do you have the ability to make people's houses vibrate like me? can you set an alarm off a block away? hehe..it's all good fun..buy according to your own taste in music.

Good luck!

I bet my bet my Mids hit harder than your subs
What I really don't understand is why some ppl want to put twin turbos on an automatic VG maxima.

i don't care about hitting hard. i hate headaches. i like good sounding bass. although, if i want to i can make this thing pound. and you better not be talking about me. i never ever ever said anything about twin turboing an AUTOMATIC. I hate automatics. they are the scum, of the earth. i don't care if they're made by the top of the line prodcution companies and have been proven to last over 1 million miles. They suck. they are for lazy people.

yeah, but the dragsters have a racing tranny. on a normal tranny you would have to get the valve body upgraded everytime you drove it.

in reference to the point of this thread...like others said, it depends what you want. they could all cost around the same ammount of money depending on what you want to do. also, you might want to considering what needs to be done first (if your stock stereo or exhaust are dying on you). personally, i'm gonna start my system soon, and i'll probably do exhaust over my spring break ( i have a hookup and am probably gonna go dual for around $300) and for the body kit, i'm gonna wait and see what happens with this skyline style thing they're working on.
